Spread and aerate at once with this innovative attachment from Brinly! The Aerator Spreader, in rugged gunmetal-tone finish, combines a drop spreader and spike aerator, helping you get two jobs done in half the time. The heavy-duty spike aerator perforates the ground, while the steel drop spreader drops seed, lime or fertilizer directly into the soil where it works fast and won't wash away. This hard-working tool is built tough with durable tubular steel frame and drawbars. The 100 lb. capacity hopper is made from 18 gauge all-welded steel to minimize twisting and flexing when loaded, while the 8" galvanized steel tine stars stay sharp, won't rust, and penetrate up to 2 inches to allow air to reach the root system. For example, the spread rate of an average weed and feed fertilizer is typically about 3 lbs. per 1000 sq ft with a flow control setting of 5. I bought the 40” aerator spreader and I am very happy with it. I used it to drop spread diatomaceous earth to combat ants and ticks with an eco friendly solution. It worked great. I can’t wait to use it for other lawn care products. The assembly instructions are flawless and it can be done at a leisurely pace in under two hours.

Picked up from Boonville IN store. Attached to my small gas cart. Lasted about 30 minutes until the wheel came off and bent the tubing. Very poor construction as the wheels cannot be tightened to prevent the wheels coming off. Instructions indicated to loosen the bolts so they will turn. Who ever designed this axel and wheel was not thinking. It should have had a tubing that the axel bolt goes through that is larger than the bolt so it can be tighten against it and the wheel turns freely. Over $400l.00 piece of junk as far as the axel goes. I did not think Tractor Supply would offer this poor piece of equipment to its customers. It was put together by the store employees.

This did not make 5 passes in the yard and the drive axle with plastic cups was no match for the steel cotter key. The plastic stripped almost immediately this is on the spike axle took it back TCS company refunded my money and i orderd a agri fab. Much better built harder to put together
But well worth it. Sorry Brinky you need to talk to you engineers.. never match metal with plastic the medal always wins
