Is it really true - only wineries can grow grapes? of course not! The Van Zyverden Grapes Concord Blue can be grown by anyone and are one of the most widely produced fruits in the world. There are however, many different types of grapes with some more suitable in the home garden than others. Grape vines like humus-rich, medium moisture, well drained soils in full sun. These potted fruit trees are not picky of soil conditions, but best sited in a sheltered location away from winter winds. The variety is self-pollinating Vitis Labrusca concord, commonly known as a fox grape, produces yellowish-greenish flowers in June which have a sweet musky fragrance. These fruit bearing trees give way to medium-sized, blue-black, edible grapes which ripen to dark purple mid season.Ships to: 48 contiguous US states, plus the District of Columbia, except ID, OR, WA, CA, ND

1 out of 4 doing well

I ordered and received 4 Concord grape vine sticks. No leaves. Only 1 of the 4 have starting budding. I will be very disappointed if the other 3 don’t bud soon. I do not understand why they remove every single leaf and send sticks. Craziness as ithey have been out of dormancy in fl for several weeks now.

Died, never grew

Planted in soil and waited and waited for leaves. Received 2 sticks with what appeared to be live roots. Checked stems and they appear to be dead. No green anywhere noted and no leaves ever grew.
