Some quality issues.

I have not used the snowblower yet. However, the unit arrived with a bent handle and bent 'C' bolt that secures the top and bottom handles. I was able to straighten them out sufficiently. Also, the piece that holds the pull cord to the lower handle was missing. Toro sent a replacement. I started the unit, and it seemed to run fine. I hope I don't run into anything else when the snow starts falling.

Defective Toro 821 Single Stage Snow Blower

Received a Defective Unit due to improper assembly by Toro. I am a Mechanical Engineer and assembled the blower per written instructions. Unfortunately due to improper assembly of an arm that activates the rotors the machine was incapable of functioning. Tractor Supply made the return process very easy. 5 stars for Tractor Supply, 1 star for Toro Quality Control.

Bought this early so I've only just unboxed and assembled it for now. Good quality blower. I'll have to edit this once winter gets here and I've used the Toro. 😃

The worst Toro ever

I got this last year and didn't use it much, so now my putting it away for the summer, and What a design horror this thing is. First is the gas tank, it is rectangular with the gas cap in the middle. So how do you drain the gas???????? The fuel line is short and it is in the SIDE of the tank so you can't drain it nor can the engine run the tank dry. You can't tip it either since the fill is in the middle. You have to siphon it out, but you still cant get it all out.
Then this thing doesn't throw very far and stalls out on wet snow. and then there are the screws....some are imperial, and some metric and two sizes of phillips head, why??? Oh and it is made in mexico, so this thing has no advantage over the other.
No, I do not recommend this product.
