Once it is plugged in, press the electric-start button to start the engine, and then remove the plug from the machine. Well the machine that this one replaced was a 15 year old toro. The primer button froze and shattered when I tried it. Tried the electric starter and burnt out that. Finally got it started, worked for half hour and fuel was pouring out of the carburetor. This was the Friday snow storm in NEPA . Went the toro dealer that Monday and bought this unit. We haven’t had more than a dusting of snow since. So hopefully I will get to use it this winter.

Wonderful snow remover

Owned 2 of the models 721. Wonderful machines. My last one was given to my Son-in-law, because his blower has problems. I expect my new 821 will outperform the others. Assembled the few easy pieces on arrival, started it up with small amount of fuel. Perfect ! I will store it away properly, until next year.
