Economical Implement

I have to say I am impressed with this implement. It did bounce around quite a bit because I have tight ground, however after adding 7 cinder blocks to the weight rack, the disc broke the ground well and operated efficiently. I placed 4 cinder blocks on the weight rack, then added 3 more cinder blocks on top. I cut a 2X4 to the width of the weight rack and 3/4" plywood cut to the length to reduce the bouncing around of the cinder blocks. I used a ratchet strap to hold the 3 cinder blocks on top. This worked out very well. Once the disc was able to cut deep into the tight ground, I removed the weights altogether. I used a Honda Foreman 4X4 quad to pull the disc, covering approximately 1.5 acres. I highly recommend this implement.

Flip over disc

I pulled this disc about a 100 yards after I just received it. Flipped it over and started using it and made about 2 passes and the wheel falls off that is not even on the ground now. They use washers to space the wheels out instead of a spacer, that I had to find all of. The disc worked well with weight. Would of been nice if they had put something on the weight rack to keep what you put on there from falling through the two big holes.

Easy to Use

Works well! When ground is really dry/compacted, you’ll need some weight on top. Cinderblocks work well. If you’re on loose/not as compacted ground, no additional weight needed.

This disc did exactly what we expected. Disced up rocky weedy ground and did great. Used 3 cinder blocks for extra weight and it worked perfect.

Tarter atv disk

Used my tarter atv flip disk for the first time yesterday. Was very pleased with it's performance. Disked up an acre of powerline for a food plot, which was covered in 6 inch gress and weeds. Added 3 cinderblocks to the tray and it cut thru this mess pretty well. If the area is sprayed beforehand, think it would make for a great plot. Seems well built, only complaint was tires rubbed on supports which made it difficult to push nanually to move around. Also, said it is American made, but saw parts marked China
