Q: Does this work for clean beach sand raking ?

1 Answer
  • A: per the manual: Use the drag harrow on flat and level surfaces capable of supporting the drag harrow and its maximum load. Pulling or pushing a load on a slanted or uneven surface can result in loss of control. As long as it's a level area, it should work

Q: Would this be good for horse poop?

Anonymous3 years ago
1 Answer
  • A: The Yard Tuff Drag Harrow is recommended for use on gravel, before and after seeding, and leveling play/ball fields. It can be used to spread fertilizer by adding weight to the front tray but I don’t believe it would be effective with horse manure.

Poor workmanship

Was thinking this would be ok for a new small yard I had put in but never made a complete pass ( approximately 100 yards ) around before the link fence pieces started to disassemble themselves. As a furniture manufacturer of thirty plus years I more then understand the importance of quality, I’ll submit a photo and people can judge for themselves I guess.

Good Drag. Buy Better Hardware Up Front.

The drag itself is a good low-level skimmer. Buy yourself new hardware to connect it from the beginning though. The cheap clasps and chain that come with this broke on the first use. We have since replaced with higher quality hardware with no issues.
