Q: How many lawn mower tires can be repaired w/ 32oz of slime?

  • A: Thank you for your question! The 32 oz. bottle of tubeless sealant can treat multiple tires. It depends on the size of the tire. A standard lawnmower would require 8 oz. of sealant per tire, but larger tires would require additional sealant. To determine the amount needed per tire, you can use the sealant calculator on our website: https://www.slime.com/us/slime-calculator.php You need to measure the width across the tread area and the height of the tire to plug into the calculator. Sealant installation is not an exact science so estimating the measurements is fine.

Q: How do I determin what size bottle to get for my tire ?

  • A: On the bigger pump bottle of slime there is a chart suggesting how many ounces for the tire you’re working on. There is also a suggested size tire on the smaller containers.

Used in rear tire of a husqvarna riding mower and so far so good. Tire had a leak big enough to go down overnight. I used over half the quart.
