Not made very well

At first this bird feeder seemed to be okay but now I'm noticing condensation buildup on the inside of the feeder. I've had numerous bird feeders in this spot and never had a bird feeder do that. I will be taking the bird feeder down and replacing it with something else. The birds don't seem to like this feeder very well so the seed isn't being eaten and will just stay wet from the moisture.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Perfect size, well-constructed, easy to fill

Holds a lot of seed and it's well-constructed, but we drilled a few more holes so that water can drain out when it rains. It's easy to fill, but it would have a little more room to pour seed into the feeder if the lid could be raised a bit higher. Like the 8-lb feeder, we like that we don't have to fill it very often, but it seems that the seed doesn't always flow easily into the holes. We have to occasionally dig into the holes to get the seed to flow out so that the birds can have some to eat. I don't think the birds can reach into the holes.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This does get loose from poor construction- the bolt is at the very underside of the feeder and comes undone with continuous use of turning around each time. This causes the top lid to not stay shut thus allowing rain and whatever to get inside.

I came out of my house one to day find a bird had gotten its head stuck in one of the feeding holes and was apparently not able to free itself. It had died with its head stuck inside the feeder. Very shocking and sad.
