Really nice feeder

I have been using this type of feeder for over a year now. I currently have 7 of them on shepherd hooks in various places for my birds. I find squirrel baffles an absolute necessity when using these feeders but I have had much better luck with this setup than the much more expensive "squirrel resistant" feeders I have used previously - the squirrels somehow managed to disable the squirrel guards on them in a couple of days. As other reviewers have stated, I had one feeder that had one of the perches break in half inside the feeder and I find it a bit difficult to clean all the way to the bottom of the feeder. All in all however, these feeders are a good value for the money. So buy these feeders and a good metal squirrel baffle and enjoy feeding our feathered friends for a good long time.

Smaller holes than previous jumbo version ...

I’m not sure on this, something changed. Birds aren’t interested and I’ve tried several seed blends. I’ve always had great luck with these feeders but noticed the last 2 I purchased had smaller access holes. I replaced my previous ones because squirrels damaged them. I suspect the smaller access holes are the reason for the great price? Anyway, the seeds become infested with little bugs due to the length of time they sit in the feeders. The birds just lost interest, and I typically have 100’s of winging visitors every day. I’d fill feeders up every 3 days but now they stay full for 2 weeks, easily. Looks like I need to try something else.
