The Prozap Ready-to-Use Beef and Dairy Fly Control Spray can be applied as a fly pest control by spraying a fog that contains 1% Vapona. This barn fly control spray can be used on beef cattle, dairy cattle (lactating and non-lactating), goats, sheep, swine and horses. It helps control horn flies, house flies, stable flies, face flies, gnats and mosquitoes.Usage Warnings

Brahman and Brahman-cross cattle should NOT be treated, as they show hypersensitivity to organophosphates. Do NOT apply to calves under 6 months of age

Q: I already have a backrubber and a jug of this product - can I mix this with mineral oil and use on the backrubber?

  • A: No- this product cannot be used as a back rubber solution. It can only be applied as a spray and cannot be applied at more than 2 oz. per adult animal. The skin should not be soaked or wetted with product.

Q: So - you said the product is not safe to go directly on cattle? What would happen if it does get directly on them and in more than 2 ounces??

    Best product for fly control

    This is the only fly treatment I’ve found that works. The flies die instantly and it controls them for about a week. It almost smells like diesel which is concerning but all other products have been a waste of time and money.

    I use in in a spray bottle on my cow & horses. At least you can smell, unlike some equine spray. Works pretty good for flies that attack the poor cow & with the oil it’s heavy enough that I can stream it from a distance.

    Love this product. Love the diesel smell. (Farmer’s daughter). We have tried homemade and name brands. This works the best for horses.
