Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Works great in my small barn to significantly reduce the insects

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best fly control system ever! I don’t know how this works so well but it does! The flies this year are the worst I’ve seen. I put a sprayer in my goats’ stall, my screened porch (which always gets flies from the door constantly being opened), and over my back door. The flies are gone from all those areas. I bought a fourth for the chicken coop but haven’t installed it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New version of a great product I've used these for years and the old ones lasted and lasted. This one has only been up for a few weeks but it seems sturdy, easier to clean and its been functioning perfectly in the barn that is new to us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works ! I just bought this a month ago for my horses run in shed. Easy installation. It works well. My horse spends more time in there than before, so he notices that there are fewer flies.

So am I understanding this product is safe in a garage? Does the garage door have to be open when in use? I know, silly question, I just want to make sure before deciding whether to try it or not. Thank you!!

Asked by: Becky H
This product is for use in farms, dairies, barns, kennels, milk and egg handling areas of dairies and chicken houses. Do not use in nurseries or rooms where infants, ill or aged persons are confined. It is not for use in residential areas or on indoor residential surfaces. Do not install directly above or within 12 feet of any food handling or dispensing area. Metering device must be timed so that it does not dispense while food processing is underway. Foods should be removed or covered in such a way as to prevent contamination. All food processing surfaces should be covered during treatment or washed with an effective cleaning compound followed by potable water rinse.

Is it possible to use the country vet fly spray in a glad dispenser, is it possibly the same size or shape?

Asked by: Seashell1
Unfortunately it is not possible to use Country-Vet Fly Spray in a Glad dispenser because the can is slightly larger (about .2 oz).

Does the product leave a coating on the horse that would help repel flies when not in their covered area.

Asked by: Debbbbbbb
No, the CV Flying Insect Kill System is formulated to instantly eliminate flies and other insects. We recommend the “CV Farmgard Permethrin Concentrate,” to control flies and other insects on horses and other large animals. Its formulated to eliminate and control fleas, ticks, lice, mites, mosquitos, flies, gnats, roaches, moths, beetles, ants, wasps, yellow jackets, spiders, bed bugs and more for up to 4 weeks.

Can this be used on home porches to kill mosquitoes and wasp?

Asked by: 49erbabe
Yes, you can use the kit on your home porch to kill flying insects, however, be sure to place dispenser at least 8 feet from the ground. You do not want to come into direct contact with the mist.

By any chance, will this sprayer work with the 17oz cans of Counry Vet metered fly spray?

Asked by: DpCathy
This dispenser does not work with the 17 oz can. It is designed to work with the 6.4 and 6.9 oz refill cans sold at TSC under SKU 2213811 and SKU 2213015.

There are two different settings on a switch next to the on/off switch; looks like 3000/9000 options.  What does this mean?

Asked by: TJGJR
The 3000 setting is recommended for the 30 day refill.
