The PetSafe Universal Pet Door Installation Kit helps create more weather resistance by providing a clear silicone sealant to use around the edges of your door and extra weather stripping. A universal drill bit is included with the pet door installation kit for your initial installation. The pet door installation kit comes with everything you need to install a pet door - even into an ornate 6-panel door. Use the pet door installation kit for any PetSafe pet door. This pet door installation also prevents heat and A/C from escaping your home. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

    Not enough weather stripping

    The weather stripping isn't long enough for all 4 edges of the frame. It was about half as long as needed. Not sure what size this was for

    Not enough

    5 years ago
    Kit did not provide long enough insulation to do even one side of the door. So bought a large roll at local hardware store for considerably less money. I guess its for only splicing in insulation for a small repair, not a full installation

    No, I do not recommend this product.
