- A: This coop is solid for standing on the ground. But it’s not designed for portability to be removed because there aren’t wheels and handle for easy move. If you need to move the coop, please make sure it’s move by at least 2 persons carefully (product weight: 169.4 lbs.). There are also portable coops selling on TSC website. Great little coop!

Great starter coop! We were able to get this built in just over an hour with two of us. You will need a few tools, but specifically a drill make it easier. It’s great quality & the hens are loving it!

Sturdy and cute, but missing pre-drilled holes!

As we were putting this coop together, we were super excited about the quality of it.
The pieces are heavy duty, sturdy and cute too.
Our opinion changed when we got to attaching the protective pieces along the roof and we realized that all the places that were supposed to have pre-drilled holes, did not!
Called customer service and we were told we were not the first ones to call about this issue and there was no solution except to return the coop!
Return the coop!
Return the 169lb coop that is now out of the giant box and mostly assembled, to a store that is 40 miles away.
Isn’t there a quality check before boxing it up for sale?
Disappointed and angry.

Lying coop, Lying TSC, Match-made in heaven

Sturdy little coop. Instructions are misleading and description is not honest about the amount of chickens that can comfortably live in it. Doesn't help that our local TSC sold us a different larger chicken coop they didn't have and ran us around the building for half an hour before telling us, "we can get this one instead, it's the same." It's not the same and now we have a few weeks to solve the space we need for the amount of chickens they required us to get.
No, I do not recommend this product.
