- A: Hi, while the Pelican S.E.E.K 100XP Angler is stable for its size, it is not specifically designed as a "stand-up" fishing kayak and lacks a dedicated standing platform or pull-up strap. Because it is a 10-foot sit-in model, standing up to fish can be quite difficult and may cause the kayak to tip unless you have excellent balance and are in very calm, shallow water.2 months agoHelpful?

I just went for my first paddle. Overall, this is solid. The weight and hull shape are nice. It’s comfortable, light for the price, and good in the water. The “ergo bar” came off. The forward mounts are in the perfect position to scrape your hand as you paddle if you’re 6’ tall. The paddle is basic and I’ll upgrade that quickly. Overall, a steal for the price.
