This Ideal Animal Health DC and R Disinfectant is a non-flammable and non-corrosive formulation. DC and R Disinfectant can be used to disinfect pens, hutches, feeders, waters, cages and livestock and poultry hauling vehicles and equipment.

  • To be used in disinfecting hard, non-porous surfaces of farm buildings and equipment
  • For poultry and livestock productions, veterinary clinics, kennels, and other non-livestock buildings
  • Kills gram negative and gram positive bacteria, viruses and fungi
  • Apply DC and R Disinfectant with a mechanical spray device
  • Kills organisms on contact, and keeps killing for up to 7 days after application

Is this safe for use in a grassy kennel area where breeding dogs run when outside?

This product is designed to be used for disinfecting hard, non-porous surfaces of farm buildings and equipment, and should not be used on grassy areas.

What is the ratio of mixing this product?

For general use, the ratio is 1:128. For fogging, 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 oz. / gallon. For canine Parvovirus & Feline Panleukopenia, 3 oz. per gallon of water.

Can you use this product on wood areas inside a chicken coop

This product is not recommended to use on wood- wood is a porous surface and is nearly impossible to disinfect.
