We have four hens that were labeled as Mystic Onyx at our local Tractor Supply. They have red combs and faces but otherwise their feathers are beautiful black with blue, green, and purple undertones. These are the smartest and friendliest hens we have - very intuitive and resourceful and needed no training to learn about the coop and nesting boxes. They come up to visit and ask to be held when they’re feeling social. They are active and seem aloof to other family members that don’t handle them as much, but overall they are my favorite out of all the hens we have because they have such great personalities and intelligence.

Post Office Delay

Shipping delay but good customer service. The post office didn’t transport them and left them in a warehouse overnight and they all died. I called TSC right away and they replaced them, still awful for the chickens
