Q: Can this be used as a fertilizer/seed spreader?

- A: It can, but sometimes it is hard to set the opening as it has a slide door and seeds and fertilizer are small and can sometimes fall out, there are customers that use them for this purpose, also the feeder only throws out in a narrow area behind it as it is designed for throwing out corn on a right away, it doesn't throw out like a fertilizer or seed spreader.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this handle 3/4" cattle cubes?

Tailgate feeder

Works well and is a great value. Latches on my feeder did not match pic as they were push button and not buckle. Other than that I’m happy with it.

Decent motor could not have cost that much more.

Fair piece of equipment if you are prepared to replace the spinner motor immediately. The motor housing is plastic and mounting screws are imbedded in the plastic. First good bump and it fell off. Happened to have a 12 volt motor to use for feeders.

I received my tail gate feeder without a spinner plate attached to the motor shaft. I wasn't paying attention to the purchase of a tail gate only attachment. I will order receiver hitch attachment.
