Spinner Plate is Kaputt

I have to agree with everything the poor guy with the DEFECTIVE SPINNER PLATE had to say. I have the same issue with my Directional Pro III and I even tried to replace my spinner plate with the plate from my old Directional (the motor crapped out on that one) but it will not fit because that plate is slightly different. There is nothing consistent with Moultrie products, not even a comprehensive Parts List to order another one. I can fix most anything, but you can’t fix CHEAP Parts!

Defective spinner plate

I have purchased 3 of these Moultree pro hunter 111 directional feeder !!!! One of my feeders quit throwing feeder out after inspecting it the plastic spinner plate broke and I haven't been able to find a replacement spinner plate!!!! I think if these spinner plates were made of metal this problem would be eliminated!!!! Anyone else experience this issue???
No, I do not recommend this product.

I Recently purchased the Pro Hunter III directional feeder kit to replace an older unit that had stopped working. I made a trip out to my feeding site to replace the feeder and after I had everything in place, I went to install the spring terminal battery I had on site , and found out that it would not go into the battery compartment. Apparently it requires a different size 6 volt battery . I have determined which battery it does require and will have to make another trip back out to the site. One thing I will make sure of is that the new battery will not be a Moultrie brand. Try thinking a little more about the customer and convenience of your product’s replacement parts next time you design a new product. Sure makes it a lot easier doing business with you.
