Battery compartment to small

This is very frustrating, the battery compartment is too small to put a 6 volt battery into. I’m not sure what to do except return it. I bought this for my autistic son. He was so excited.

Bad Design Hunter Pro 3

The Hunter 3 is a step down in the opposite way than the Hunter 2 motor kit. Please tell me if I am wrong. The Hunter 3 doesn’t have a plug in for the Moultrie Solar Panel to plug into, it has a hole for you to cut the plugin off of your Moultrie Solar Panel and run the wires through to put clips on to plug on to the battery and speaking of the battery. It only has room for the small rectangular battery, the batteries with the springs on top will not fit, and try to put a remote on it. Not room enough. Not everyone will pair their phone to it. Just give me the Hunter Pro 2. Yes the door is nice and the 10 feeding times is nice,”But who in the world needs 10 feeding times I wasted a lot of money this year on a Feeder that I don’t like, a Moultrie Solar Panel, that I had to cut the ends off to make it work and leave a hole for moisture to get in. Don’t get me wrong, I love Moultrie products. I have a total of 20 cameras, Solar Panels ,Remotes and Battery packs
I would trade my 10 Pro 3 any day for 5 pro 2 . I hope that I am wrong on the Pro3

Previous model 6 volt battery doesn't fit.

Battery not included. . . . not stated in the description. OK, that's frustrating, but not out of the question. BUT, I have the older model directional feeder that died just after the warranty expired so I'll just use that battery. NOPE! They re-designed the battery compartment so the old Moultrie battery won't fit in the compartment for the new style feeder. REALLY?? It's still a 6 volt battery with the same specs, but the new model won't accept the old battery shape. Why would you do that other than to force your customer to purchase another new item. Really poor guys. Not the way to endear your brand to your customer. Really irritated with Moultrie right now. DO BETTER!! Make things easier, not harder!
