- A: Hey there, thank you for your question! The total height of this feeder is about 72 inches. The two bottom leg sections are about 23.5 inches per section (adding about 18 inches of height each) with the leg brackets connecting the leg sections to the hopper. The gravity feeder spouts come out around the top of the middle leg section at about 32 inches or so off the ground. If you would like to add more height to your feeder, you can always purchase additional leg sections from our website: https://www.moultrie.com/tripod-feeder-square-leg-sections . You need to Red Neck it up . Trust Me

You need to buy the leg extensions and don't put the feeder next to a tree so the squirrels and the raccoons can’t jump on the top of it, but they will crawl up the legs . so here’s what you do you wrap duct tape, or gorilla tape or gorilla duct tape around the legs where the sections meet this will keep them sturdy then stick roofing, nails, and flat bottom thumbtack through a another layer tape so they will poke through it . Then, in between the sections of the tape.Lather on
Some gear grease , or some kind of grease ,or Vaseline wipe it on the legs .Next put a bunch of cayenne pepper into it. I mean a lot and some hot sauce , put that on the edges and around the top if they can jump on top of it . this combination will definitely keep the critters out ; otherwise, they will chew through the plastic trying to get to your corn and tear the whole thing up. Not for use if you have hogs, they will destroy it, but if you get extensions and booby trap it. It will do just fine. You will have no problems. Re grease it , Ang re pepper it every time you refill it with corn . Also put tacks and pepper grease on ground around the legs facing op poking through card board you cut out to fit around the bottom of the llegs . Trust me it works. Sounds a little redneck, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
