- A: The shaft is 1 inch long and it has a flat side so you can screw the set screw on the flat part, so yes it is D shaped.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the shaft size? looking for a 12v to replace a PTO driven seeder spreader set up that the gears are shot and parts are no longer available or repair, seed slinging wheel has a 5/8 shaft hole but with right motor I can adapt

Motor quit the in the first 20 minutes of use.

Installed the motor on my seed spreader and within 20 minutes of sowing oats and rye seed, the motor stopped working. VERY disappointed to say the least. It’s crunch time for getting the food plots planted, and I’m without a seed spreader.
No, I do not recommend this product.
