3 Point Sprayers

Spraying product across acres by hand can take all day, but 3-point sprayers cut that time in half, meaning less strain on you. Discover Tractor Supply’s lineup designed for crops, pastures and food plots. These sprayers complement our extensive farm and ranch inventory, keeping your entire operation running smoothly.

Mounted Spraying for Your Tractor

The 3-point hitch, mounted on the back of a tractor, secures equipment at three points, keeping it level and stable. Attach a sprayer to this hitch, and the tank, pump and boom move effortlessly with the tractor, providing consistent coverage wherever you steer. This setup covers far more ground than a tow-behind or handheld sprayer, allowing you to clear weeds across crops, pastures and food plots with fewer passes.

These sprayers use the tractor’s power take-off (PTO) – the spinning shaft that transfers engine power to attached equipment. With a PTO-driven pump, pressure stays steady from the moment the engine starts, ensuring an even spray and pushing through dense growth without losing effectiveness. Whether you’re working small plots or large fields, you’ll benefit from the reliable performance of our 3-point sprayers.

Tank Capacities and Max Flow Rates

Refills depend on tank size, and our inventory ranges from roughly 45 gallons at the small end to 300 gallons. A compact 3-point sprayer tank stays light and turns easily through narrow rows or short plots, making it ideal for smaller acreage. Step up to a larger tank, and you cover wide fields before needing to stop and fill. Flow rate, measured in gallons per minute (GPM), determines how fast liquid leaves the nozzles. Rates near 2.2 GPM provide fine control for spot jobs and lighter agriculture chemicals, while units around 22.5 GPM move serious volume for fast coverage on open ground.

Boom Max Spray Widths

A boom is the long horizontal arm that holds the nozzles and lays liquid down in an even band. Most run between 10 and 13 ft. wide, and that figure shapes how you work a field. A narrower band suits targeted boom spraying and spot spraying, letting you hit weeds, single rows or problem patches and leave the rest alone. Go wider, and you move into broadcast boom spraying, covering open stretches in fewer runs while trimming both fuel and hours.

Sprayer Mounting Types

Attachments for 3-point sprayers fall into two styles: pin and bolt-on. A pin mount drops in and locks with a pin, fast to connect and pull free when you rotate through implements all day. A bolt-on mount fastens with hardware instead, giving a tighter, longer-lasting hold that takes rough terrain and heavy use in stride. Which one suits you depends on how often you swap gear and how much vibration the sprayer absorbs out in the field. Either route keeps the unit locked down and the spray pattern true, pass after pass.
