Rated 4 out of 5 by from The chicks are here! My first shipment didn't make it but they sent a second and I'm happy to say they arrived healthy and beautiful! I can't wait to see what I got out of this straight run. One is white for sure and I think that's pretty cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12 healthy chicks I was notified my chicks shipped on a Tuesday and they got to my post office Thursday morning. There were 12 in the box and all 12 are happy and healthy 1 week later. Very pleased with my order. Wish there was an option to buy fewer than 10 online.

How old are the chicks by the time they would make it to your home? 1 day? 4 day roughly?

Asked by: Hawkwarn
Per Hoover's: Chicks are shipped the day they are hatched and sent US Priority mail. No matter where chicks are shipped in the United States it will never take more than 48 hours to arrive. Most arrive no more than between 24-36 hours based on region.

I bought 10 "female" chicks. 8 survived, of those 8, four of them appear to be male. How do I solve this?

Asked by: TLCamp
Please call 641-323-6100 and we can help with this. We generally ship 12 chicks. It is extremely rare when ordering females to receive any males let alone half. Our sexing ration is consistently above 95% over a history of 75 years
