Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chicken feed I buy this for my chickens. The price isn’t bad at all. They love it. I mix it up between this one and the mini pellets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happen Hens I havent tasted it myself but the girls seem to like it.
Date published: 2020-05-22
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thin shelled eggs This food doesn’t provide enough accessible calcium. Shells are thin and the eggs break easily. Yolk breaks in the pan super easily too. I have to supply oyster shell every day. The chickens like it and it’s inexpensive but it’s not the best overall nutrition for laying hens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feed Using for several years no need to review online. Chickens have no complications with feed

Are any of your laying pellets GMO free?

Asked by: Macdad55
Grains used in these products are purchased on the market and the market does not distinguish between GMO and non-GMO. There is a good possibility that there are GMO grains in both products. The only way to be certain that you are not getting GMO grains is to purchase organic products.

I have customers asking for gluten free eggs. I am feeding the 16% layer pellets and hen scratch. Of course all clean water. About once a week I pitch in a flake of alfalfa hay. How far off am i to a gluten free diet. I don't even know how to check

Asked by: Innapinchrescue
All eggs are gluten-free. Regardless of what the hen eats, you will not find gluten in eggs.

There are no ionophores in this feed, but it is made in a plant that is not ionophore-free, and there is a chance of cross contamination.
