This Giant Marconi sweet pepper variety was awarded All-America Selections recognition in 2001 for its adaptability, earliness, smoky-sweet flavor and yield. This Bonnie Plants offering is 1 of our largest Italian-type sweet peppers. Fruits ripen quickly from green to red and are sweetest when red. They are great in all kinds of cooked dishes, especially grilled or roasted for sandwiches or alone. Plants grow about 2.5 ft. tall and have notable disease resistance. Keep peppers picked constantly and they will continue producing until frost. Plant arrives in a pot with a well-established root system and hardened off for easy transplanting in the garden.

Huge GREEN Peppers

Wanted a sweet red pepper, so when I saw this, I purchased it. It has provided abundant, LARGE, green peppers, so I came online to see if I'm doing something wrong as far as getting them to turn red. Those I've left on the vine wrinkle up and go bad before they turn red. I had one turn red when I picked several and put them in the fridge, but that only worked the one time. Is there some secret? (We have had a very hot summer. Maybe as nights get cooler some will start to redden??) I also peeled a couple in place of anaheims for rellenos, but definitely lacked the "heat" you want in those...

Yes, I recommend this product.

Awesome pepper plants

I planted these for this first time this year. They are awesome. So many peppers from must two plants! The notes say the plants grow 2.5 feet tall but I am 5'11" and my plants are as tall as I am! Will definitely plant these again next year.

Tasty pepper

Tastiest sweet pepper I have ever grown. Produces about 15-20 large fruits per plant, sometimes more. Doesn't get to be a huge bush, but hardy. Resistent to disease and pests. I grow one each year.

I love these peppers. They taste so good. A tad bit sweeter than a bell pepper.

Yes, I recommend this product.
