This All-America Selections winner is a "staple" pepper for the garden, a very reliable plant that can produce loads of mildly sweet peppers throughout the season. Named for their resemblance to a banana in shape and color, Sweet Banana Peppers can be eaten when yellow, or you can wait to harvest them until they turn orange or red (and become sweeter as they do). Fruits have thin skins, making them a great choice for frying and pickling. Plants grow well in large pots. Be sure to mark plants if you are also growing Hot Banana Peppers, as plants and fruits look quite similar.

Grow wonderfully and produce the vegetables as describe!

These Bonnie Sweet Banana Pepper plants are absolutely amazing. I received them at no charge through influencer in exchange from my honest review. When I receive them, they were quite small and cute. I planted them in my garden on May 4, 2026, and as you can see from the video that I took today May 21, 2026 they have grown tremendously and have peppers on them. I highly recommend Bonnie plants for anyone that is ready to grow some nice homegrown fresh vegetables. Thank you so much for allowing me to try these. They are now my favorite garden variety plants.

Strong, healthy plants that are thriving!

Perfectly packaged healthy plants that arrived with zero damage. Experienced very little transplant shock and now have blooms—can’t wait to have future banana peppers! Unfortunately, lost one plant to a cut worm while out of town, but excited that my second plant is thriving. No signs of disease and still going strong.
