Grow the Bonnie Plants 19.3 oz. Jalapeno Peppers Plants. These moderately hot peppers are the most popular chile peppers in the country. Fruits are perfect for roasting, stuffing, egg dishes, nachos, and (of course) jalapeno poppers. Peppers turn from deep green to red, and get hotter, as they stay on the plant, and may develop a harmless netting pattern on the skin. Heat level may vary from fruit to fruit (even on the same plant), but range from 2,500 to 5,000 on the Scoville scale.

Small and Stressed.

The plants were in protective wrap around plastic containers. I thought that was favorable to me. Protects them during shipment against any rough handling. However, 2 plants were dried and failed. 2 others might make it with some care. I was disappointed in the size. They were considerably smaller than you might find on a TSC garden shelf. The store replaced the 2 dried plants from off their garden shelf and those dwarfed the shipment plants. These were 4 times larger. I would have been better off buying from the store directly.
