Chicks grow to have a great disposition. I bought them from a local Tractor Supply I only wanted 4 pullets but ended up with only one despite the fact that this breed is very easily sexed due to the males having a white dot on top of their heads. I didn't do my homework and the salesperson obviously didn't know that the white dot on the head meant male chick when it comes to Black Sex Link chicks. turn out to be very nice-looking roosters though. Another thing is my only Black Sex link hen was the first to start laying at 17 weeks. I have cinnamon Queens, Isa Brown, Rhode Island Reds, California whites, and White Leghorns I hope this will help someone else out.

Folks, do not order chicks online this way! 4 out of 10- dead on arrival... Yeah, I get it, bound to happen, but they were literally crushed in the bottom of the delivery box...Sad that this is how we treat creatures... Absolutely no care whatsoever... One died at home, so that is 50% of the birds if you are counting at home! Did I mention that the delivery did not even commence until 2 weeks after the order? Trust me, I get that to, with the pandemic and delivery drivers working like crazy... Just notify the buyer, it's literally that simple! Just don't do it... Wait until they were at a local store or a local farmer. I will absolutely never support this kind of business again... Definitely learned my lesson...btw, I do have pictures but do not feel it is appropriate to attach them here.
