A toy with hope

I rarely see a chicken on this device. It's a good idea, but I think the chickens don't realize it's a toy, and they jump on it out of curiosity only to be frustrated that it isn't stable like a rooting spot. Still, I'm convinced that at some point they will figure out it's a toy and it will be so funny to watch them swing on it. The leghorns, being the smartest and most curious breed of chickens, seem to be finally figuring it out.

Backyard Chicken Bird Swing, Flat Bar

My chicken yard is six feet high. The rope that came with the swing is too short for the chickens to jump up to. I will be adding extra rope to the swing to bring it down shorter for the chickens to see and use.
