Clarification On Assembly Instructions.
At first I thought that there were holes drilled incorrectly but after fully assembling it, and reading other negative reviews about people having problems assembling and remarking that holes were in the wrong spot, I found that it's a misunderstanding on assembly. And at first I also thought the holes were drilled incorrectly until I figured it out. I will try to explain to help everyone else with this misunderstanding dilemma because the holes are all in the correct position and it does all assemble perfectly fine. I've bot multiples of these for my flocks and they are all good.
On pg. 6 Step 1 of the instruction manual, support bars (5) must be attached with the hole at the farthest length from the end of the bar at the bottom of the bar. I as well as most people were trying to install the bar with the hole at the closest end from the end of the bar at the bottom to match the support bar (4).
After I got it fully assembled, which took me about 30 minutes, it was all perfect. I will put my own stain on it or linseed oil to help preserve it. Other reviewers mentioned that the wood was light, soft, poor quality and wouldn't hold up or support their chickens. In my opinion, after it was all assembled, it was heavy(ish) and supports my standard size big girls jumping up on it and such just fine. By adding your own stain or boiled linseed oil to it, it will last for a good long while if left sitting out year around.
I got mine on clearance thankfully, and after figuring out how to correctly put it together, it is very much an adorable, sturdy, and entertaining jungle gym for the feather babies! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!👍👍👍

This is not worth 70, I paid 24 when it was on sale and let me tell you it was flimsy, took over 2 hours to put together and cane apart in 2 weeks, my smallest chicks are the only ones who sit on top, the big ones are too heavy.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sure why so many in the comments struggled with assembling this. If you graduated college, even high school, you should be able to follow the pictures to assemble it without pulling your hair out. Now we’re patiently waiting for the chickens to hop on!
