- A: It was super easy to put together. We recommend 2 people and 45 minutes. And you just need to prepare a hand screwdriver or cordless drill. All of our cages will come flat packed – It came with a sufficient pictorial manual. Screws were in marked plastic bags. Panels are stamped and come ready to be screwed together. Many have dowel rods that fit nicely into pre-drilled holes(pre-drilling will prevent any cracks and preserve sturdiness while keeping wood intact).3 months agoHelpful?

Exactly What I Needed

This coop was exactly what I needed. I wanted it to allow a hen to raise her chicks in. Previously snakes and opossums have been eating my chicks. What I liked best about it was it went together easy, seems sturdy enough and each pack of screws had one extra in it. Great product. Highly recommend depending on what your needs are.

Great little chicken pen

This chicken coop and run was pretty easy to put together. I did it alone, and it took me about an hour. It was smaller than I thought it would be. It says that it's for one or two chickens, and I think it's OK for one normal-sized chicken, which is what I wanted it for (maybe better for bantams). She needed to scooch down to get into the coop from the ramp, which she was unsure of at first. It is definitely not overnight safe---I bring my girl into the barn at night.
