It's easy to operate and maintain - just attach your ground and fence wires and plug it in. With this simple hook-up, the electric fence controller delivers all the containment power you'll need for your livestock operation. Mount the AC-powered 15-mile fence charger in a sheltered location on the 3 slots built into its sturdy case. Once installed, the energizer electrifies up to 15 miles of vegetation-free fencing. That's enough to keep your animals in and, when properly designed, small wildlife pests out. You can use this electric fence control box to manage many types of livestock, including cattle, goats, horses, pets, pigs, poultry and small wildlife.

We speak "volts" around here, not "joules".

Why don't you list "volts" as the output? Regular people (not electrical engineers) understand volts, not joules. I'm not an electrical engineer, and I'm not a mathematician, I'm a simple pig farmer so I don't want to mess with conversions. More importantly, I have two different fence testers and neither one reports in joules - VOLTS! I don't care how many joules it takes to push energy through a wire, I care about how many volts the animal receives. BOTTOM LINE: It would take you so very little extra effort to simply add voltage output to the printing on the box, don't you think?

Registration for 3-year warranty doesn't work

I would like the product much better if I could register it for the 3-year warranty. The QR code on the box sends you to tractor supply main page - not helpful(see photo). I called the customer number on the box which stated to go to Zareba.com - they have a statement on their main page that their system is down till January. (see photo) so I'm thinking that they want people to forget to register - I want proof that I tried two ways - hence my review - proof of registration.
