Cheap and does the minimum job

Cheap and works decent if you are easy with it. The weak spot is the L shaped threaded pieces that hold the wire onto the spool, they are inferior Chinese metal amd if you just replace them it will work much better. I didnt stick it in the ground I drilled a hole in a piece of wood and used vertically.

Strongly recommend using one of these for high tensile electric fencing. We drilled a hole in a 2x4 ratchet strapped the 2x4 to lawn mower trailer and slowly walked the wire down the line. This fence was 100x easier than our field fencing.

Not a dependable tool

I purchased this to replace the jenny I purchased about 30 years ago - which got significant use. The spinning jenny was substandard in that it was lightweight. Wire was easily dislodged from spool while in transit. I would not recommend this jenny to anyone doing a significant amount of fence work
