With the American Farm Works 0.15-Joule 10-Mile Solar-Powered Electric Fence Energizer, your fence line can receive power from anywhere. This fence charger runs up to 2 weeks without sunlight and is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. With 0.15 output joules, it supports a variety of animals and livestock, such as cattle, horses, pigs and goats, and energizes up to 10 miles of fencing. This electric fence charger includes a built-in battery monitor, which allows you to keep track of your battery's health. With a quick glance, you'll be able to determine if your battery is going bad or your charger just needs a better angle. A durable case helps protect the energizer against the elements. To prepare this solar-powered electric fence charger for first use, place the unit in full sun for 3 days in the off position. After this charging period, the unit is ready to use and install. Set the charger's patented mounting bracket onto a T-post or wood post. Built in the USA, this electric fence charger is tested with a full load at our manufacturing facility and comes with a 3-year limited warranty, including damage from lightning. I have three of these. Solar panels do not hold up to elements (SUN) in south Mississippi. Plastic dry rots then it’s trash because water fries the electrical components.
No, I do not recommend this product.
