I bought these Rubber Gate handles to replace handles on kennel doors at a dog shelter. (No, the doors are not electrified.) I needed tough handles that could handle occasional dog nipping. They are used to raise and lower sliding doors between the inside and outdoor portions of a kennel. They need a connector to steel cable on one end and a hook on the other end to be used to keep the door open. Most of the other brands were plastic, not rubber, and in some cases more expensive. These are perfect for my use, but I have little knowledge how - other than it involves electricity - farmers, ranchers, and other usual Tractor Supply customers use them.
