In Description of Product it indicates an electrical indicator light. I do not see this on my unit. Is There supposed to be an indicator light somewhere?

Asked by: TxBengalFan
This charger is not equipped with a "Fence OK" light. We recommend regularly testing the energizer with a fence tester.

I'm showing 1000v peak pulse. Is this the output I'm looking for or do I possibly have a weak ground?

Asked by: Vic49
This charger should provide a no load output of 6,000 volts +/- 20%. Insufficient grounding is a possible cause of low voltage on the fence line. Feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-5-ZAREBA (1-855-592-7322) for troubleshooting assistance.

I have a question. I have this 5 mile model hooked up to my fence. The problem I have is when you touch the wire nothing happens. When you touch the fence nothing happens. When yo touch the fence and the wire you get shocked. What have I done wrong?

Asked by: Loran
When testing a fence by touch, your shoes will often insulate you from feeling the shock. For the most accurate results, we recommend using an electric fence tester.
