I had never used this product before when we decided to put an electric fence on our six acres. I hated using electric "gates" and was looking for a solution. This product is easy to use and very durable. No more risks of electric shock or having to unplug the fence just to get into the pasture. Highly reccomended!

I purchased online. The wire I received has TWO places the coating is stripped. And not just a mark from shipping. Over an inch is gone on both spots. Absolutely infuriating.

If you need to use it in the meantime, wrapping the exposed sections tightly with high-quality waterproof electrical tape or heat-shrink tubing can offer a temporary seal, though this won't fully restore the original factory insulation or its safety rating for long-term underground use. Given the extent of the damage and that this affects both performance and safety, we'd recommend reaching out to the retailer you purchased from for a replacement or refund, since this appears to be a defect from manufacturing or shipping rather than something that can be reliably repaired for permanent underground installation.

Used this for passing under gates to energize sections of fencing. Works quite well for places where you need an underground jumper from one section to another, or from the energizer in a shed to the nearby fencing.
