I like it so far, and my chicks love it! It’s really big, compared to what I had before. I had two small houses that connected and have wanted a big house for awhile, where everyone can sleep in the same house. I got new chicks and will put my two grown hens in when it’s time. The run is really roomy, and I love that it has roosting bars! Directions were pretty good; but they were always clear, and were confusing in places. I put the window parts on backwards, because it didn’t specify which way the ridge that holds the trays should go. I figured it out and had to take it apart and put it back together again. I was happy to find that there is a hole in the run, where you can open the door from the outside; but there were zero directions about doing that, and another review had complained about having to crawl in the run to open/close door, which I was doing until I figured out the hole. I like that it sits on the ground, because I have chicks and one of my hens is injured and can’t get up a ladder easily. I’ll put it on a pallet when it goes outside. The wood is soft and thin…not super sturdy. It will be inside a metal run when it goes outside. Right now, it’s in the garage for the chicks. I wouldn’t trust it, not in an enclosed run. I’m pretty happy overall. I have zero construction skills, so I have to go with prefab coops, because real wood ones are too expensive and I can’t build my own right now: As far as prefab coops go, this is a good one. I’m very happy with the size and design. Quality of materials could be better. The metal braces make it feel more sturdy.

Very cheap material for the prize. I got it anyways. Worked really well with pigeons for a few years but now I put chickens in it and it’s falling apart. The main door fell of and the perch doesn’t say in unless you screw it in. Also the sliding door freezes in the winter and the metal rod brakes very easy in the cold

We have had this coop for one year now! The trays inside have rotted, the wood has warped, it’s definitely not worth the price! Took a while to assemble, but assembly went pretty smooth! All parts included, no missing pieces! But I surely am not going to built a new one every year! The door with handle lasted one month!

This Is one is the largest prefabs I found and so we went with it . There were a lot of modifications needed like painting it with waterproof deck sealant so it lasts more than one year.caulking around all the seams so it is draft free. We took out plastic in the two largr windows and instead replaced them with hardware cloth. We added an additional roost over the nesting area, added linoleum peel and stick tile to the pull out trays for ease in cleaning, a automatic door, and lifted it onto cinder blocks for ease in cleaning. Also added hardware cloth to the run and around the run.. My 3 EE look small in it (2 months old), but eveb when they grow fully, the coop is larger than necessary but that was intentional. In nj it gets cold and wet outside so we needed a nice retreat inside for them. Finally, they needed more space to run around on so we added an 86" run. I prefer the run to be higher off the ground, but this works for us for now, esp with just 3 chickens.
