Item Information

Are your chickens cooped up? Give them the space they need with the OverEZ Chicken Coop (Patented No. D793,628). We noticed that many chicken coops on the market are only made for having chickens seasonally and they didn't come with a floor. So we got to work creating a chicken coop that will meet all your needs and will last many years. It is made in the USA and built by Amish trained craftsmen! Whether you live in the south with high humidity and heat or in the north with subfreezing temperatures and snow, this chicken coop can be for you.

  • Constructed out of wood and is heavy-duty
  • Can be used in cold and hot climates

OverEZ Chicken Coop, Medium is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coop I spent many hours searching for a well made coop at a reasonable price. This is it. It came well packed for shipping to avoid damage. Very well made. Comes with two small cans of matching paint for touch ups and extra screws. Followed the directions to put together. Had a few issues getting the sides to line up properly but nothing we couldn't work around. Just took a bit more time putting together. The chicks learned to go in on their own the second night. I wouldn't want to put 10 large chicken breeds in it but it certainly can hold a mix of 10 chickens of different sizes. It should be obvious it isn't meant to have them in it all day. The 3 nest boxes are of adequate size. My laying chickens tend to only want to use one nest box in their other coop. It will be interesting to see where they lay in this coop. I have their food and water placed underneath. Will find a way to adjust that when the weather turns really cold. I believe it's going to be easy to clean. It's cute, functional, strong and sturdy. Great door latches to keep them safe at night. It is recommended to reinforce the screen on the window. The small vents on either side and the window should provide adequate ventilation unless you only clean your coop once a year. Personally, I could never do that.

Will water/rain go through the gap at the nesting box lid?

Asked by: nrfaktor
It's possible, but it would take a heavy down pour and blowing wind.
