The medium chicken coop is made in the USA and built by Amish trained craftsmen for durability! This chicken coop is also constructed out of wood and is heavy-duty for long-lasting use.

For additional information on this product, please see the Product Documents section for all downloadable user manuals, installation guides, brochures and warranty statements.

Quality Control and attention to detail is subpar

I can only give this coop 4 stars for the following reasons: It’s crated/packaged poorly. Held together mostly by large staples and the coop arrived with some cosmetic damage. The hen door handle was scratched up pretty badly, minor warping of wall so door wouldn’t close properly. The nesting box door won’t close fully it’s in the way of the wood. Roof corner had to be hammered back down and the ceiling barrier was over sprayed in red paint and finally the so called “roost bars” are part of the wood crating to use. There is no separate roosting bars included. OverEz needs to inspect BEFORE they ship out and TS needs to. They items need to better better packaged for the cost and use some other shipping company. I did reach out to OverEz to let them know about the quality issue to no avail and TS was kind enough to refund 10% of my payment for damages..

Shipping.

Well, finally showed up a day late and totally destroyed. Not sure what can be done about that. Pallet was broke all to hell and coop has a massive amount of damage. Shipping company absolutely sucks. I know these coops are quality, but this looks like it’s fell out of a truck.

Great coop

Great construction. Not cheaply built. Will last for years. It’s rated for 10 chickens but I think more like 7-8 chickens are a better fit. Completely ready to assemble. Was very easy to do.

Great Coop

Great coop! Not the easiest to put together. Most of the screws just did not want to go in. We had to drill holes first for them. There are a few concerning gaps I’ll have to work to fill and splintered wood from when they assembled the walls. Otherwise we’re happy with it. We watched a YouTube video for assembly which was great. Assembly is pretty self explanatory.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great coop. Underwhelmed w/ product QC

After a bit of issues getting connected to XPO I had the coop finally delivered. We’ll leave those issues aside. Coop shipped with a fair bit of cosmetic damage and one of the pre drilled screws had been torqued on in transit cracking the piece of framing for the chicken door. In installation I had to connect the chicken door side by different means. There were a lot of scuffs. Luckily they do provide paint for touch ups. In the bag with the paint is also a bunch of spare hardware. Which works out as a couple of the predefined screws were bent in transit and needed to be replaced. One of the white trim siding was connected with brad nails and broke leaving exposed brads and the blown out wood underneath. Luckily I have a brad nailer and was able to repair. Along with another side trim that was pushed way in and needed to be pulled out in order to slide on to complete the coop. There were also a few minor imperfections. Some of the trimming is square or is a bit asymmetrical to other sides. The roof wouldn’t slide on as it appeared it should and even ended up being perfect on one side but smashing the vent on the other as there was not enough spacing. I have to say. For the price I paid for this I had higher expectations of its quality control. I’m fairly disappointed. The honest truth is I believe if you’re handy and have the tools you oughta just look at pictures and replicate. It’d be fairly easy. Only buy this if you’re willing to trade quality for convenience or you have no experience building structures. Outside of the QC issues it was easy to build. You just need two people and a drill. The coop itself is very nice once built and touched up. We love the locking handles to keep kids out. The perches and window are nice. And it’s got a great farm barn feel.

No, I do not recommend this product.
