This is great if you have no more than 2 chickens. We have 4 young chickens in there and they fit but very little room to do anything. Ok, if you want a pet chicken for a child to learn or watch but not good if you want to actually have enough chickens to do something like get eggs.

A lot smaller than I though. TOO small for four full-sized hens. Will replace scratch area cage with larger fence.

Cute and compact, nicely put together. Easy build

This is a very cute coop. The size is exactly what you would expect it to be and would house 3-4 medium-sized chickens comfortably - at least temporarily. I don't think it would be enough space to house them permanently. We are using this as a coop to house our juvenile chicks - those that are too big for the brooder, but not yet big enough to be out with the full-sized chickens. For that purpose, it is ideal. There is ample space for a good number of smaller birds. My biggest complaint is that it is not a hearty coop. Underneath the cute paint is very thin wood that will likely not last a year outdoors. This is a big disappointment for the money we spent. We have chosen to move to coop into a barn so it's not exposed to the elements - and with that, it should last well enough and be very useful. Buyer beware, that it is really not strong enough to last outside with exposure to any elements (rain, snow, etc.).
