Pros and cons

Pros: easy to assemble, no broken parts, seems like better quality wood than the last one, which lasted 5 years before rotting out in humid, wet, NC weather, and had all the features I was looking for. Cons: only fits 4 chickens, you need a bigger run to go with it, the inner door to the coop is on the wrong side, the floor of the nesting boxes is made of slats with gaps, and the outer roosting bar is too thin. Plan on painting this coop, caulking it, and putting hardware cloth all around the base to keep out predators.

This Hen house is so freaking cute! I do suggest to give it a paint job because the white is just a primer and it was poorly applied.The packaging was damaged so it did expose some of the wood and it had some minor damage. Also the coop part is not attached all the way to the top so it has a pretty big gap that my hens have figured out how to get over it and into the run. I thought maybe I left two out at night by accident but low and behold theyre just escape artists.

A good small hen house and run. All the parts were there. Took about an hour for the two of us to build. Suitable for only a few hens.
