Surprisingly easy to assemble although there is no written text, just pictures (so you have to take your time). Nice looking and will contain the chickens but won’t stand up to aggressive animals like raccoons or dogs. I removed the nest boxes and customized it for quail. Like that you can walk in. All parts were included with a few extras. Nicely packed and came on a pallet in 3 flat boxes.

“5 roosts”, I’d interpret that as meaning 5 places to sleep. Not so, 2 are in the run, 2 are under the hutch, that leaves 1 for inside. It’s 35.4” long which leaves enough space for 3 full grown, laying chickens but space to add another. Difficult for hens to reach nest boxes so added a bar in front of each. Wood splinters, very dry and swells with moisture so it becomes hard to open and latch doors and remove poop pan to clean so I leave it out and just add a little heat from an incandescent bulb in freezing weather so no one gets frost bite. We don’t have hard frosts here. Poor quality paint. My chickens don’t like the steep ramp. Coop a little shaky so had to give some extra support. Poor quality wood, splits. A lower door at the hutch end would help with cleaning, chickens are sooo dirty! Well ventilated. Young active chickens popped the perches out of their support brackets, had to screw them down. Wish my kids asked me about this coop before surprising me!

Very nice chicken coup. My chickens love it!

We bought and built ours about 6 months ago. We love it and it fits the white farmhouse look that I wanted. My chickens love it. Easy to clean up. We even added onto it to make a larger run for ladies.
