The large chicken coop is made in the USA and built by Amish trained craftsmen! This chicken coop is also constructed out of wood and is heavy-duty for long-lasting use. - A: It fits up to 15, this is referring to bantams because they're the smallest fully grown - so that's the maximum it will fit. It would fit about half as many regular size chickens. There are 2 roosts and 5 nesting boxes.3 years agoHelpful?

Great little coop

I bought this a month ago and moved my 6 week old chicks into it one week ago. Love the product it came faster than I thought. Very easy to put together. The height is correct on the website, but I was expecting it to be where I could stand up in the coop. I am 5’2 and have to stoop. I have silkies so the roost bars are too high for them. I will need to build something to go under the roost bars with a ladder. My chickens are safe and secure at night.

Great Product With One Minor Issue

This coop is overall a great product and the palletization method is very end user friendly. The one star deduction was for the roosting bars that came with cracks and chips that required sanding and shaping to make them acceptable and less prone to cause foot problems for our chickens. Given the price paid, this quality assurance oversight should not have been my problem to fix prior to use.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this a few months ago, but we were not able to put it together until today. It sat in our metal shop, but the humidity is so high here that the boards warped. Took a 5-in-1 and rubber mallet to get it all together, So far I am happy. One thing I wish is I could have not had the the door locks and gotten a discount. I did paint mine, because I didn't like the rust color and that was all that was available.

2nd Large Coop purchased.

This is my 2nd large size coop. The fit on this one was not as good and some gaps exist. Bowed panels made it difficult to slot into the trim recess. Also, the vinyl floor covering has been replaced with some type of paint. Still a very good coop but not as good as the 1st one purchased.
