The only starter I will use. I've had issues with other brands but never with this one. I end up with beautiful healthy birds every year and get compliments from every buyer.

Bags are 40lb not 50!!!

The bags are advertised as 50lb but comes in 40 lb. I was shorted 70 lbs of feed as a result of this and when I complained, was basically told oh well that darn website and given no compensation

My chicks do best on Naturewise chick food. I have tried many for my chicks but i always come back to this brand. It has a nice fragrence as well and the cost is very reasonable.

This chicken starter has gone down in quality over the past year. It’s now powdered at best. I loved using this for all my chickens who were mommas and babies, even roosters. Not so much anymore. Still good I guess if you want to ferment your feed, but not good as a crumble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ducks love this. They’ve been eating these crumbles since I got them at 2 weeks. They’re now 2.5 months old and are thriving! The ingredients are balanced. The only thing I wish it had was added niacin. Protein content is perfect.
