The only starter I will use

The only starter I will use. I've had issues with other brands but never with this one. I end up with beautiful healthy birds every year and get compliments from every buyer.

Bags are 40lb not 50!!!

The bags are advertised as 50lb but comes in 40 lb. I was shorted 70 lbs of feed as a result of this and when I complained, was basically told oh well that darn website and given no compensation

I started to feed my small flock of 10 the non-medicated nutrena chick starter/grower as soon as the food I got when I purchased them ran out, their feathers are coming in beautifully and have had no pasty butts or feeding issues. I will definitely be continuing with the nutrena line doing forward

Healthier happier chicks

I have started and raised thousands and thousands of layer chicks from production hybrids to heritage breeds and everything in between. Although I have found feeds that would grow them bigger and faster, I have never found a feed better than this at raising a strong, vibrant and super healthy chick. When the feathers come in they are strong and beautiful, no brooder full of lost feathers. They're poop is firm and healthy and the overall health can be seen in how they act. Knock on wood, since swapping to the naturewise starter/grower the mortality rate is none. Be hard to feed anything else from now on.
Yes, I recommend this product.
