The TRIXIE Chicken Coop provides your flock with a safe place to nest, sleep and roost. Fold down the doors of the durable chicken coop, converting them into ramps, and your lively chicks are free to roam. Built to last, this chicken coop is also constructed using solid wood, composite asphalt shingles and a weatherproof finish for years of use with very little maintenance. It's suitable for 2 standard size chickens or 4 bantams. The sleeping house comes with fresh air vents for ventilation.

Ramp not sturdy

It works. It arrived with a broken ramp/door near the hinges. We had to glue and screw it back together. The wind did knock it over and it is not fixable.

Not worth your time

Pieces broken right out of the box. Had to glue and nail some things together to make this work and upon moving to it's permanent place, one of the doors was so flimsy it broke in half. Had to piece it with other wood to fix. Floor material is pressed board so I had to cover with other materials so if it gets wet, it wont crumble

Not bad for what you pay.

Easy build. One of the better budget coops and easy to upgrade. I always reinforce these budget coops with hardy backer, silicone and paint. And generally reinforce the roof. Then I still place it under a covered run area. They just don’t stand up to the rain and wind in the Pacific Northwest. I also add a home built stand to raise it off the ground.
