Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coop! This was so easy to put together! Also incredibly easy to access all areas to clean. Really like the roosting bars in that you have 3 height settings to choose from. Looks to be very cozy for them in the winter. Can easily accommodate 12 chickens at night. I’m usually not a big fan of plastic products but after putting together 2 coops made of “wood” albeit that’s a strong word for the material, this is super sturdy compared to those coops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very roomy! There is plenty of room for our six hens. They seem to like the nesting boxes split on each side. Worked well during the Summer for keeping the girls cooler. No spreading of their wings to cool off. Fingers crossed that it keeps them warm enough for cold Ohio Winters. Only negative is that the doors are warped just enough to make it harder to lock. We are able to and there seem to be no leaks. It is very easy to wash and fewer bugs are attracted to the plastic, as opposed to wood. We attached this coop to pen from older coop and built a deck to hold it on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute and easily assembled! I bought this a few weeks ago. It really was easy to assemble. I was glad for another person's help though just help hold things while you snapped it in place... Took us probably 35 minutes. It was like doing a puzzle! :) I thought for the $ that the plastic would be a bit heavier gauged... It's not flimsy, but not as heavy as I thought. Wondering how it will hold up through the years.... I use it for 10 araucana hens, would not want any more in there... I have to clean it out every 3 days or it really smells! I attached a dog run to it, so they have space to go outside!

One of the product pictures shows two roosting bars, others show a base and a stand with a ladder. Which of these items are included with the coop?

Asked by: BiddyBounty
There are 3 roost bars that come with the coop. The ladder is an example of accessories you can add to your coop, but it is not included.

Is this warm enough for cold winters

Asked by: George 116
Yes. With the way the walls are manufactured with two pieces of plastic forged together, there is a pocket of air that acts like an insulator.

Would this work for ducks as well? The door seems maybe too small.

Asked by: Duero
Our door size is 12” by 12”. This is the standard recommended door size for standard size chickens. If the duck is not going to be much bigger in height and weight than a standard sized hen, then a 12” by 12” door should be fine.

is there some way that roosting bars can be added without having to damage the original construction of the coop interior?

Asked by: Nan R
We don’t recommend adding additional roosts.
