I HAVE BEEN WEARING LUCID HEARING AIDS FOR OVER 4 YEARS ABOUT 15 HOURS PER DAY I AM 79 YEARS YOUNG. IN DOING RESEARCH TO HELP MY OVER ALL HEARING AND EXPERAMENTING WITH OTHER OPTIONS I FIND THAT WITH THE HEARING AIDS COMPLETLY INSERTED INTO THE EAR AND THE RAPTOR BONE CONDUCTION THE CLEARITY OF OVER ALL HEARING HAS A GREAT IMPROVEMENT. IF YOU ARE FIRING A WEPON YOU NEED TO USE EAR PLUGS WITH THE RAPTOR

Ordered these for a group goose hunt. I am very pleased with the shooting noise protection when used with the foam ear plugs. They worked well to hear the geese from the blind between shots. First time I've hunted for 3 days and didn't get exposed to shooting noise since I didn't need to remove foam plugs to hear the geese between shots. I gave 4 stars only because I wish the amplification would go a little louder but it is still good.
