Manufacturer Part Number TTRH700-50
Tuf-Tug Rope Hoist Block and Tackle is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and functional The action of the sheaves is smooth and the lifting capacity is as rated. Only problem is that the lock is a little tricky to make hold tight enough, almost not helpful as you still have to hold the rope which so long as you can lift the object you don't need the added brake while holding the rope. works much like a more basic tackle set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hmmm Bought this to store a slot car setup for my grandsons. Did not perform as expected. The cam lock Does work well....too well. Its a pia to get it to release. The rope is ALREADY chewed up in several places. Plan on a replacement rope. It does lift heavier objects easily so there is that. Recommend? Hmmmm....

can it be re rigged with a 100' rope , thus doubling its lifting range ?

Asked by: donnie r
Rope in rope hoist is a 3/8” diameter Poly Blend Double Braid. The manufacturer does not warranty any alteration to the product, but yes, in theory, this can be done.

I'm guessing the mechanical setup provided with this setup is 4, is that correct?

Asked by: Cray1801
The manufacturer was unsure of the question and replied with "the minimum head room is 18in".

Are the load hooks interchangeable with a different size hook? I'm looking to set something to lift 100lbs however would need a larger hook on top and smaller on the bottom. Space limitations so I'm trying to avoid using slings/shackles.

Asked by: Bill907
We do not offer different hooks and cannot verify load rating on any other hooks.

How do you unlock the self-locking feature of this product? We had no problem lifting with this, but now can't get it to lower the load. Thanks for the help!

Asked by: stuck in the air
If you pull down and push forward on the rope, it should unlock on its own.
