Q: Gee, How big is the opening to use a shackle, chain, or rope? What size min.-max. cable or rope will it hold? Kind of good to know when shopping for an item like this. (Other companies usually list this info!)

Seems like a decent Snatch Block for my uses... Pulled a 1500lb stump into a dump trailer with a Pullzall Warn Winch. I like its small size and ability to take rope or cable. has a grease fitting for the bearing. I think it would be difficult for a rope to go between the plate and the pully, go slow. great for ATV and around the yard use.

Absolutely the worst snatch block I have ever used. If you are not pulling dead level and square, your winch cable slips off the pulley. I would return the product if I could. I’d give it a zero/five if I could. Glad I wasn’t relying on it to get me out of a bad situation the first time I used it because I would have been in a big mess!
