The Standlee Premium Western Forage Premium Alfalfa/Timothy Hay Pellet Horse Feed is made from high-quality sun-cured, forage formed into 1/4 in. pellets that are easy to measure and easy to feed. Standlee's blend of Alfalfa hay and Timothy hay is moderate in protein, moderate to low in sugar, and highly palatable, ensuring that your horse will enjoy every bite, encouraging better feed consumption and overall health. It provides a steady source of energy without the risk of excessive protein intake, reducing the risk of behavioral issues such as hyperactivity or excitability. Available in 40 lb. bags. Made in the USA.

Standlee recommends that pelleted and cubed forage not be the sole source of forage for horses since feeding some long-stem forage (hay) may help eliminate boredom and prevent stall vices. Feed Standlee at a rate of 2.0% of body weight per day. Gradually replace existing hay with Standlee over a 7-10 day period. For horses that have dental problems or for horses that aggressively consume their feed, Standlee is recommended to be fed wet, soaked in water (2 parts water to 1 part pellet or cube) for 30 minutes or until properly softened. Never feed moldy or insect infested forage to horses.
Gradually replace existing hay with Standlee over a 7-10 day period.

Champ is doing extremely well on the Standlee Alfalfa/Timothy feed. He is without some teeth so it has to be soaked before he eats.

I have been using this in my feeding program for the last 30 days. My horses love getting extra pellets mixed with their grain, and I love knowing they’re getting the extra forage in their daily diet! I will continue to feed these pellets in my daily routine! My broodmares are glowing a little extra! Here’s my bred APHA mare, Fancy Informer, after 30 days of Standlee pellets!
