Forage is the most important component of a horse's diet and should be fed at a rate of 1.5-2.5% of a horse's body weight. Introduce Standlee Forage Plus Gastric Support gradually into your horse's diet over seven to fourteen (7-14) days, supplementing the forage and/or pasture with Gastric Support fed at a rate of .05 to 1% lb of body weight per day. Great for Seniors!

At 32 years old, he lost sight from uveitis in both eyes last winter. He has a hard time eating now, so I am trying the Forage Plus Gastric Support to help alleviate some of the stress he is feeling. I soak his pellets and he loves his mash. He hasn't gained weight yet, but he seems to be feeling fine, and looks forward to his next mash. The pellets soak nicely and he digests them well.

I bought this for a gelding that had been starved for several months that had also been given lots of bute. He had raging ulcers, and this was one of the few things he was happy to eat and helped heal his ulcers along with traditional ulcer medications. He’s doing great and putting so much muscle on. This is great for treat balls, pre-ride meals, etc.

Good for the tummy

We started feeding these becouse out horses were prone ro ulcers. After feeding for 2 months we noticed our gelding was less girthy and started putting on weight. Happy belly happy horse
