Start with the amounts of Equine Senior Active horse feed given for the weight and lifestyle of the horse. After observing the horse for a period of time, the amount fed may be gradually increased or decreased to obtain the desired body condition and weight.
Any feed changes should be made gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Changes in the rate of feeding should not exceed 1.0 lb per day for each horse.

Equine Senior Active contains a prebiotic called Active Age. Active Age is a prebiotic that will help your horse with immune response and inflammation in the horse, it also contains Outlast for supporting gastric health. Equine Senior Active is designed to be fed along with hay and/or pasture, so the fiber sources do not provide the bulk in the diet. Further, the nutrient profile of Senior Active is designed for a lower minimum feeding rate – 0.3 lbs/100 lbs Body Weight per day will meet minimum nutrient requirements along with appropriate hay/pasture.
